Meeting Minutes
August 11, 2011
Meeting called to order at 7:05pm
In attendance: Orval Johnson, Chairman; Marilyn Buckingham, Member; Barry Eklund, Member; George
Stroebel, Member; Natalie Trudeau, Member; Nolan Wall, Planner from Stevens Engineering
Members absent: Darrell Emerson, Mark Kopp
Public comment: none
Review Draft Wind Energy Licensing Ordinance: Reviewed changes from previous meeting. Changes made to
[Section J.2.d.v], [Section E], [Section F.1], [Section G.2.b.vi]. Motion to approve the Wind Energy System
Licensing Ordinance with the noted changes from the previous meeting as well as the changes incorporated in
this meeting, and recommend approval from the Town Board (Eklund/Buckingham). Motion carried
unanimously. Fee schedule to be determined for License Application and Violations.
Discussion on Implementation of Town Comprehensive Plan: Discussion on Action Items listed in the
Implementation Matrix in the Comprehensive Plan, noting completion or action required.
Next Plan Commission Meeting and Public Hearing to amend Zoning Ordinance: September 8th at 7pm
