Meeting Minutes
April 14, 2011
Meeting called to order at 7:05pm
In attendance: Orval Johnson, Chairman; Barry Eklund, Member; Darrell Emerson, Member ; George
Stroebel, Member, Natalie Trudeau, Member; Nolan Wall, Planner from Stevens Engineers
Absent: Marilyn Buckingham, Member; Mark Kopp, Member;
No Public Comments
Review Subdivision and Platting Ordinance: Reviewed previous edits. Minor edits made (Section L, 3, c,
iii) (Section L, 4, b, ii) (Section N, 4). Motion made to send Draft Ordinance to Town Board for approval
(Eklund/Emerson) unanimously carried.
Review Junked Motor Vehicle Ordinance: Reviewed previous edits. Discussion regarding (Section D:
Definitions); Nolan will look into alternate definitions for review. Edit made (Section E, 2) defining the
permit term. Minor edit made (Section G, 2). Nolan will look into permit and citation fee schedules.
(Citation Ordinance will require revision when fees are determined.) Edits made (Section G, 6) addition
of “service” in exemptions. Nolan will look into Sec. 218, Wis. Stats. to determine if addition of “service”
is appropriate.
Wind Turbine Licensing Information: Nolan presented draft of State Statues and sample Wind
Generator Ordinances to review for next meeting. Discussion.
Dog Nuisance Ordinance: Review for next meeting. Request context and feedback from Town Chairman.
Next Plan Commission Meeting: May 12 at 7pm.
Minutes were read and approved (Emerson/Eklund).
