Garfield Town Board Meeting

Meeting called to orderby Chairman, Ed Gullickson, at 7:00 pm.
Public Comments: None
Road Maintenance: Been working on filling potholes, putting in culverts and finishing up ditch work on 130th Street North of County Road C.
Vacating Right of Way on Wapogasset—Discussion: Disagreements between Bob Traynor and Bob Turek-Shay regarding the abandoned road issue will need to be resolved between themselves.
Notifying Property Owners of Ordinance Violations: Ed Gullickson will notify property owners in person regarding their ordinance violations and draw up a formal letter.
Park: Motion made by George Stroebel to approve the purchase of a striping machine to put lines in the parking lots at Garfield Park. Carried-unanimously. A plan was made to clear out some of the muck at Sunrise Beach landing.
Clerk’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Vouchers: Submitted, signed and approved. Motion made by George Stroebel to approve submitted vouchers. Carried-unanimously.
Treasurer’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Monthly Board Minutes: Motion made by George Stroebel to approve the May 9, 2017, Board minutes as submitted. Carried-unanimously.
Adjourn: Motion made by Don Mork to adjourn meeting, 7:35 pm. Carried-unanimously.
