Garfield Town Board Meeting
July 11, 2017

Meeting called to orderby Chairman, Ed Gullickson, at 7:00 pm.
Public Comments: None.
Any Other Business That May Come Before the Board: John and Eileen Mannie came before the Board regarding a setback at 948 Sunrise Beach Drive. The County told them they needed a variance for a shed. Mannies stated that County said setback was 90’; Gullickson stated setback from center of road per Town ordinance is 50’. Gullickson stated they would be able to put up the small shed and to fill out a building permit for final approval from the building inspector.
Road Maintenance/Maintenance Building: Big lake Drive, 130th, and Kennedy Mill all have been grounded and gravel will be hauled in tomorrow on the roads where needed. Blacktopping will be done soon.
Vacating Right-of-Way on Wapogasset: Bob & Judy Traynor submitted information regarding vacating easement. Traynors and other land owners have been in contact with surveyor Ed Flanum and attorney Terry Dunst . Board is okay with Traynors vacating the right-of-way as proposed.
Clerk’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Vouchers: Submitted, signed and approved. Motion made by Stroebel/Mork to approve submitted vouchers. Carried-unanimously.
Treasurer’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Monthly Board Minutes: Motion made by Stroebel/Mork to approve the July 11, 2017 Board minutes as submitted. Carried-unanimously.
Adjourn: Motion made by Mork/Stroebel to adjourn meeting, 7:55 pm. Carried-unanimously.
