Garfield Town Board Meeting
February 14, 2017

Meeting called to orderby Chairman, Ed Gullickson, at 7:00 pm.
Public Comments: None.
Road Maintenance/Road Rebuilding/Rebuilding Open Storage Bldg: Gullickson stated to board about financing for roads and what it would roughly cost to grind and repave roads, gravel added to them over the next two years. Funding alternatives will be explored.
Gullickson stated that he would like to see the open storage building restored after the rental agreement is done. More will be discussed later in the year.
Park Maintenance Issues: Docks will be repaired before they get put out this year. Dave Nelson stated that the parking needs to be restriped. Mark Knutson stated that the cracks in the paving need to be filled. Gullickson stated that there will be a sign for the boats to be installed.
Approval of Tylee Family for Care of Park: Tylee family is ready to start caring for the park this summer (mowing, cleaning, etc.)
Clerk’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Vouchers: Submitted, signed and approved. Motion made by Stroebel/Mork to approve submitted vouchers. Carried-unanimously.
Treasurer’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Monthly Board Minutes: Motion made by Stroebel/Mork to approve the February 14, 2017, Board minutes as submitted. Carried-unanimously.
Adjourn: Motion made by Mork/Stroebel to adjourn meeting, 8:00 pm. Carried-unanimously.
