Budget Meeting called to order by Chairman, Ed Gullickson, at 6:00 pm.
Gullickson explained the draft budget for 2024.
Motion made and seconded to approve the budget of $929,654. Carried-unanimously.
Levy Meeting called to order by Chairman, Ed Gullickson, at 6:20 pm.
Gullickson explained and reviewed the new levy amount.
Motion made and seconded to approve the levy amount of $629,254. Carried-unanimously.
Adjourn: Motion made by seconded to adjourn Levy meeting at 6:25 pm. Carried-unanimously.
Regular Board Meeting called to order by Chairman, Ed Gullickson, at 6:25 pm.
Public Comments: Liz Waltzer asked the Board about neighboring dog issues.
Approval of 2024 Levy and Budget: Motion made and seconded to approve the new budget and levy. Carried-unanimously.
New Truck - Discussion: The new truck is here and in use. Town now has two plow trucks.
Sunrise Beach Boat Landing: New pay machines will be purchased and in use for the next year. A new concrete toilet will be installed early next year. New lighting will be installed. New boat fees will be $6 daily and $30 annual. Motion made and seconded to approve the increased boat launch fees. Carried-unanimously.
Road Projects for Future: Board discussed the roads that are going to be worked on for the TRI grants. The soft spots on 112th will be fixed shortly.
TRI Grant Application: Board explained the two grant applications that were submitted.
Planning Committee Update: Planning Chairman gave the Board an update. Board stated that the attorney will contact property owner where a trailer was moved in without a permit.
Other Business That May Come Before the Board: Board discussed the insurance deductible and if it needs to be changed. Motion made and seconded to cover the deductible on the insurance claim. Motion made and seconded to approve the higher premium and lower deductible. Carried-unanimously.
Clerk’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Vouchers: Submitted, signed and approved. Motion made and seconded to approve submitted vouchers. Carried-unanimously.
Treasurer’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Monthly Board Minutes: Motion made and seconded to approve the November 14, 2023, Board minutes as submitted. Carried-unanimously.
Adjourn: Motion made and seconded to adjourn meeting, 7:10 pm. Carried-unanimously.
