Garfield Town Board Meeting
February 9, 2021

Meeting called to orderby Chairman, Ed Gullickson, at 7:00 pm.
Public Comments: None.
Road Maintenance & Update of Culvert Expense: Brush work is being completed. Culvert update, the Board is working on filing grant papers with the State.
Issues at Garfield Recreation Site: Gullickson commented on issues of snowshoeing people verses the cross country skier people. Gullickson will be working with both sides to come to an agreement.
UPS Request for Rental Space in Maintenance Building: Mark Knutson informed the Board about the request from UPS about renting space in the maintenance building. Board stated that they would consider renting to UPS. Knutson will get more information and get back to the Board.
Liquor License Dispute: Gullickson stated that Liz Sieben from The Mix Up called him and was stating why the Board denied their request for an off premises license. Board has talked to the State and the State stated that it is against the law for any Class A/B license holder to sell off premises.
Other Business That May Come Before the Board: Ray Stanley’s wife has passed away and would like to do something at the park in her memory.
Clerk’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Vouchers: Submitted, signed and approved. Motion made by Stroebel/ Gullickson to approve submitted vouchers. Carried-unanimously.
Treasurer’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Monthly Board Minutes: Motion made by Stroebel/Gullickson to approve the February 9, 2021, Board minutes as submitted. Carried-unanimously.
Adjourn: Motion made by Gullickson/Stroebel to adjourn meeting, 8:10 pm. Carried-unanimously.
