Caucus Meeting called to orderby Chairman, Ed Gullickson, at 7:00 pm.
Meeting was turned over to Dave Nelson to chair the caucus for nominations for the office of Town Chairman.
Nominations are as follows:
Chairman: Ed Gullickson nominated by Mark Knutson/George Stroebel.
Following the close of nominations for Town Chairman, Gullickson resumed the chair for nominations of candidates for other Town offices
Clerk: Sue Knutson nominated by Dave Nelson/Don Mork.
Treasurer: JoAnn Erickson nominated by Mark Knutson/Dave Nelson.
Supervisor: Donald Mork nominated by George Stroebel/Dave Nelson.
Supervisor: George Stroebel nominated by Ed Gullickson/Dave Nelson.
Caucus meeting adjourned at 7:05 pm.
Board Meeting called to orderby Chairman, Ed Gullickson, at 7:06 pm.
Public Comments: None.
Road Maintenance & Road Rebuilding in Coming Years: Gullickson asked Mark Knutson about the corner on Sunrise Beach in regards to ditch clearing and shouldering. Board will talk to Luedtke Logging about removing trees on Sunrise Beach. Knutson asked about the turn around on Walleye Court and maybe making it bigger so the dump truck can turn around easier. Roads being looked into 120th Avenue, 85th Avenue, 150th Street, Kennedy Mill (last quarter mile to 120th).
Closed Session for Purpose of Employee Annual Review
Reconvene Open Session: Gullickson stated that board is happy with their work perform-ance. The employees will be getting a 2.5% raise from the first of the year.
Parking for Garfield Recreation Area: Gullickson stated the parking needs to be enlarged to accommodate more vehicles. Snowshoe people have been told by cross country skiers that they are not allowed on trails. Gullickson told snowshoe people that they do have a right to use the trails.
Other Business That May Come Before the Board: The Mix Up inquired about a temporary license for one day off premises for serving drinks on Lake Wapogasset during the Wanderoos Community Club’s fishing contest. Board denied request.
Clerk’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Vouchers: Submitted, signed and approved. Motion made by Stroebel/Mork to approve submitted vouchers. Carried-unanimously.
Treasurer’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Monthly Board Minutes: Motion made by Stroebel/Mork to approve the January 12, 2021, Board & Caucus minutes as submitted. Carried-unanimously.
Adjourn: Motion made by Mork/Stroebel to adjourn meeting, 8:25 pm. Carried-unanimously.
