Garfield Town Board Meeting
October 9, 2012
Present: Chairman: Ed Gullickson
Supervisor: George Stroebel
Treasurer: Valerie Anderson

Absent: Supervisor: Don Mork
Meeting called to orderby Chairman, Ed Gullickson, at 7:00 pm.
Public Comments: No public comments.
Road Construction: 138th, 170th,and 65thare complete, with the exception of a few mailbox replacements. Maintenance crew is now working on clean up from wind and straightening signs.
Review of Dog License Process:The town’s animal control officer is now certified. It is recommended that the town update the dog ordinance. He is also certified by the state to enforce animal abuse/neglect. Fees will increase to $5/$10 for fixed and un-fixed and kennel tag price will increase. This action will be on the November agenda. New dog form will be approved at November meeting also.
Start Budget Process: Clerk is waiting for Levy Sheet from the State and then can start working on budget.
Clerk’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Vouchers: Submitted, signed and approved. Motion made by Stroebel/Gullickson to approve submitted vouchers. Carried-unanimously.
Treasurer’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Board Minutes: Motion made by Stroebel/Gullickson to approve the October 9 Board minutes as submitted. Carried-unanimously.
Adjourn: Motion made by Gullickson/Mork to adjourn meeting, 8:00 pm. Carried-unanimously.
