Town of Garfield Budget Meeting

Meeting called to order by Chairman, Ed Gullickson, at 7:05 pm.
2010 Town of Garfield Budget sheet was passed out and gone over. Ed Gullickson went
over Budget for 2010 and gave an explanation of each line.
Quilins stated they liked the new fire number signs. Kathy Quinlin commented that their road,
Lone Pine Lane, needs to be fixed. Gullickson stated that the road will eventually be bully
patched.
Gullickson went over Levy Limits.
Gullickson also stated what the Town’s loan balances were (Wapogasset Lake Lane road
assessment $16,364; Wapogasset Lake Park $241,250; Mack Truck $163,580).
Motion made by Tom Quinlin/Vivian Hillebrandt to approve the 2010 Town of Garfield Budget
as submitted. Carried-unanimously.
Special Town Meeting of the electors pursuant to Section 60.10(1)(a) of the Wisconsin
Statutes to adopt the town levy limit is called to order at 7:34 pm. Gullickson stated that the
levy amount is $384,055. Motion made by Don Mork/Tom Quinlin to approve the levy amount
of $384,055. Carried-unanimously.
