Garfield Town Board Meeting
January 19, 2009

Meeting called to order by Chairman, Ed Gullickson, at 7:05 pm.
Minutes of last meeting: Motion made by Buckingham/Mork to approve Board minutes as
submitted. Carried-unanimously.
Public Comments: None.
Roadwork: Snowplowing—discussion regarding sand usage and plowing.
Life Link: Representative, John Huot, was not here. They increased their capita from $8 to
$11. Discussion. Town paid $8.
Planning Committee Ordinances: Discussion on zoning ordinance. Ordinance priority is as
follows: Subdivision Ordinance – Revision
Zoning Ordinance
Road Ordinance
Dog/Animal Ordinance (Gullickson will get some information from other Towns)
Junk Ordinance
Buckingham inquired as to the increase of board size and went over the board member’s
terms. Two positions need to be filled and one position is a re-appointment.
WI Towns Association-Urban Town Committee: Discussion on becoming a member. Due
will be $416.25 per year. Motion was made by Buckingham/Gullickson to become members of
the WTZ/UTC for $416.25. Carried-unanimously.
Wanderoos Lion’s Club: Ice fishing contest picnic license. Motion made by
Gullickson/Buckingham to approve picnic license for fishing contest. Carried-unanimously.
2008 Statement of Accounts: Motion made by Gullickson/Mork to approve the Statement of
Net Assets and Schedule of Revenues and Expenditures for the period of January 1 to
December 31, 2008, from Carlson Highland. Carried-unanimously.
Approval of Vouchers: Submitted, signed and approved. Motion made by Gullickson/Mork
to approve submitted vouchers. Carried-unanimously.
Treasurer’s report: Submitted.
Adjourn: Motion made by Mork/Buckingham to adjourn meeting, 8:32 PM. Carriedunanimously.
