Rural Living Guide
The Town of Garfield in cooperation with the Polk County Extension Office has prepared a Rural Living Guide that attepts to provide residents of the Town of Garfield with a document that answers common questions about living in the Town's rural environment.
Living in a rural area differs in many ways from an urban community. This Rural Living Guide has been developed to inform those who are considering purchasing a rural property and those that already have. It is hoped that this information will help people consider issues that may affect them when living in a rural area.
