Town Board Meeting

Meeting called to orderby Chairman, Ed Gullickson, at 7:06 pm.
Public Comments: Jason Kjeseth stated that he received an invoice for the unpaid impact fee and that the Board has not followed through with the provision of the attorney’s letter described in the November board minutes. Board advised Kjeseth that if he contacts the town's attorney, he will be responsible for those attorney fees.
Road Maintenance: Mark Knutson stated that 143rdStreet tree clearing is just about done. The mower is in the shop with maintenance work being done on it. If weather holds out they will move to 120th. Kennedy Mill Road and 143rdwill be ready for blacktopping. 150thwill be the next road to be fixed.
Closed Session for Employee Annual Review: Discussion.
Reconvene – Open Session: Gullickson stated that the Board appreciates the work that Mark and Dave do. Dave’s hourly wage will increase from $19.50 to $20.00 and Mark’s hourly wage will increase from $25.05 to $25.80.
Tree Maintenance Issues in Garfield Park: Dave Nelson stated that there is a dead tree by riverside shelter that needs to be removed and there is another one on the other side that has dead branches. Board suggested to have Luedkte Tree Service look at the trees and to see if they are interested in taking them down.
Finalize Action for Dog Damage Claim:Gullickson told Zahnow that the State sent some forms to be filled out and sent in. Zahnow will get a copy of the police report. Gullickson stated that the Town can only go after the owner for not having the dogs licensed. Kelli Doolittle has not licensed her dogs as of today. Incident occurred on Mother’s Day of 2018.
Clerk’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Vouchers: Submitted, signed and approved. Motion made by Stroebel/Mork to approve submitted vouchers. Carried-unanimously.
Treasurer’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Monthly Board Minutes: Motion made by Stroebel/Mork to approve the January 8, 2019, Caucus and Board minutes as submitted. Carried-unanimously.
Adjourn: Motion made by Mork/Stroebel to adjourn meeting, 7:45 pm. Carried-unanimously.
