Meeting called to orderby Chairman, Ed Gullickson, at 7:00 pm.
Public Comments: None.
Any Other Business That May come Before the Board:Michael Segal submitted a request for an Operator’s License for the UW Wanderoos. Segal’s background check game back with no issues. Motion made by Stroebel/Mork to approve the Operator’s License for Michael Segal. Carried-unanimously.
Road Maintenance—Report on Employee Hand Injury: Campbell was installing a post and somehow injured his thumb on his non dominate hand. Campbell broke the bone and had surgery on the thumb, and returned to work the following week. Insurance company was notified.
Maintenance has been clearing brush on the right of way on Kennedy Mill Road.
Set Board of Review Date: Assessor Randy Prochnow gave tentative dates to have the Open Book on Thursday, April 19, 2018, from 12-2 pm and the Board of Review on Thursday, May 31, 2018, from 5-7 pm. Motion made by Gullickson/Stroebel to set the Board of Review for Thursday, May 31, 2018, from 5-7 pm. Carried-unanimously.
Review New Fire Hall Plans in Town of Alden: Board reviewed the floor plans and drawing of the new fire hall.
Dock Repair for Garfield Park: The boards on the docks are breaking and need to be replaced. Wheels need to be replaced. Mark Knutson will look into a new product that will be more durable.
Clerk’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Vouchers: Submitted, signed and approved. Motion made by Stroebel/Mork to approve submitted vouchers. Carried-unanimously.
Treasurer’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Monthly Board Minutes: Motion made by Stroebel/Mork to approve the January 9, 2018, Board minutes as submitted. Carried-unanimously.
Adjourn: Motion made by Mork/Stroebel to adjourn meeting, 7:35 pm. Carried-unanimously.
