Garfield Town Board Meeting
October 11, 2016

Meeting called to orderby Chairman, George Stroebel, at 7:00 pm.
Public Comments: None.
Road Maintenance/Maintenance Garage: Culvert on Big Lake Drive will be replaced. Blacktop patching has been done. New Mack will be done by the end of the week. Old Mack has been advertised for sale. Dave Campbell has been mowing the ditches.
Electrical/lighting is three quarters done. Office, restroom, and lunch room are still under construction. Concrete floor has been sealed. Yard has been leveled and seeded.
Review of Preliminary 2017 Levy: Levy will not change very much from previous year. Motion made by Mork/Stroebel to set Levy hearing date for November 8, 2016, at 7:00 pm. Carried-unanimously.
Other Topics that May Come Before the Board for Discussion: Jim Ellefson questioned if the snowmobile trail could run down the ditch of Wanderoos Road for a short span around the swamp.
Clerk’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Vouchers: Submitted, signed and approved. Motion made by Mork/Stroebel to approve submitted vouchers. Carried-unanimously.
Treasurer’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Monthly Board Minutes: Motion made by Stroebel/Mork to approve the October 11, 2016, Board minutes as submitted. Carried-unanimously.
Adjourn: Motion made by Mork/Stroebel to adjourn meeting, 7:17 pm. Carried-unanimously.
