Garfield Town Board Meeting
March 8, 2016

Meeting called to orderby Chairman, Ed Gullickson, at 7:00 pm.
Public Comments: None.
Plotted Road Abandonment on Big Lake: Notice has been advertised in local paper and is scheduled to be heard at the April Board Meeting.
Road Maintenance/Maintenance Garage: Potholes need to be filled. Gullickson wants Mark Knutson to see what roads needs to be chipped sealed and fogged sealed, approximately 3 miles to be completed. Knutson will also report on what roads need spray patching done. Truck has been ordered. Several other Towns are very interested in the old truck. Right-away and ditches needs to be cleared.
Maintenance garage trusses are almost up. Exhaust fan is ordered. Building will be measured for steel to be ordered.
New Nuisance Ordinance: Tabled till next month.
Adjourn for Closed Meeting for Purpose of Maintenance Supervisor’s Review: Chairman and supervisors went into closed session. Motion made by Stroebel/Mork to increase maintenance wage to $23.60/hr effective back to February 1.
Set Annual Meeting Date and Time: Motion made by Stroebel/Gullickson to set the Annual Meeting for April 19, 2016, at 4:00 pm. Carried-unanimously.
1827 93rd Avenue Residence Issues – Discussion: Discussion.
Clerk’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Vouchers: Submitted, signed and approved. Motion made by Stroebel/Mork to approve submitted vouchers. Carried-unanimously.
Treasurer’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Monthly Board Minutes: Motion made by Stroebel/Mork to approve the March 8, 2016, Board minutes as submitted. Carried-unanimously.
Adjourn: Motion made by Mork/Stroebel to adjourn meeting, 8:15 pm. Carried-unanimously.
