Garfield Town Board Meeting

Meeting called to orderby Supervisor, George Stroebel, at 7:00 pm.
Public Comments: None.
Minor Subdivision for Richard Krenz: Carl Hetfeld submitted documents regarding the subdivision. Motion made by Mork/Stroebel to approve the minor subdivision of Richard Krenz as submitted. Carried-unanmiously.
Road Maintenance/Maintenance Garage - Updates: Mack truck went in for some repairs and is now fixed. Some potholes need to be filled.
M Knutson submitted a spec for a new plow truck in the amount of $125,842 for the chassis and $87,253 for the body. Discussion. Knutson also stated that the current Mack truck will be sold and that several other towns are interested in it. Knutson also had a price for a sandbox spreader for the one-ton truck, which has no sanding capabilities currently, in the amount of $4,495. Motion made by Mork/Stroebel to approve the pricing of the truck and body as submitted, action deferred on a sander for the one-ton pending further analysis. Carried-unanimously.
Rafters have been delivered for the new maintenance shop and waiting for warmer weather to have them erected.
New Nuisance Ordinance- Discussion: Tabled to next month’s meeting.
Dog Issues on Nokomis Drive - Discussion: Discussion. Darel Hall was called and notified of this issue and will be handling this issue.
1827 93rd Avenue Residence Issues: Residents have picked up a little bit. Stroebel will contact the Town’s attorney.
Clerk’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Vouchers: Submitted, signed and approved. Motion made by Stroebel/Mork to approve submitted vouchers. Carried-unanimously.
Treasurer’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Monthly Board Minutes: Motion made by Stroebel/Mork to approve the January 12, 2016, Board minutes as submitted. Carried-unanimously.
Adjourn: Motion made by Mork/Stroebel to adjourn meeting, 7:45 pm. Carried-unanimously.
