Garfield Town Board Meeting
August 9, 2016

Meeting called to orderby Chairman, Ed Gullickson, at 7:00 pm.
Public Comments: None.
RV Park Zoning Issues – Discussion: County Zoning is going to handle setbacks on Hanson’s Condo Association. Board will have Planning Committee clarify structures, additions, and decks for RV Parks in the Zoning Ordinance regarding RVs that are 400 square feet or less.
Road Maintenance and Maintenance Garage: Shop is moving along with lighting and plumbing. Mark Knutson submitted to the Board about purchasing/renting a scissor lift to hang lights in the shop. Board declined to purchase a lift. Roadwork is being done on 150th Street.
Approval of Propane Bid – Discussion: Tabled to next’s month’s meeting.
Ken & Kathy Betzold – Discussion: Betzolds would like a variance for a 10 foot setback and County Zoning stated 15 feet in North Bay Trailer Court. Gullickson will talk to County Zoning. County Zoning handles setbacks on Hanson’s Condo Association.
Other Items May Come Before the Board for Discussion Only:Discussion on Town’s zoning map for clarification.
Tri-Grant 2012 Update: Clerk received the Affidavit of Publication. Gullickson will turn in.
Clerk’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Vouchers: Submitted, signed and approved. Motion made by Stroebel/Mork to approve submitted vouchers. Carried-unanimously.
Treasurer’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Monthly Board Minutes: Motion made by Stroebel/Mork to approve the August 9, 2016, Board minutes as submitted. Carried-unanimously.
Adjourn: Motion made by Mork/Stroebel to adjourn meeting, 8:10 pm. Carried-unanimously.
