Garfield Town Board Meeting
January 13, 2014

Meeting called to orderby Chairman, Ed Gullickson, at 6:40 pm.
Public Comments: None
Road Maintenance: Discussion. No updates.
Vacating Right-of-Way on Big Lake Park Located in Gov’t Lot 4 Section 36, Richard Larson: Ed Flanum from Northland Surveying submitted documents to Board. Discussion. Flanum will bring more information at February board meeting.
Maintenance Garage Discussion: Gullickson stated that the Board paid Bjorn Neumann for the land in December and St. Croix Title is doing paperwork on the land purchase. Gullickson has an engineer for plans and Mark Knutson received a name of another engineer. Gullickson stated that the Board will take bids from both engineers.
Clerk’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Vouchers: Submitted, signed and approved. Motion made by Stroebel/Mork to approve submitted vouchers. Carried-unanimously.
Treasurer’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Adjourn to Closed Session for the Purpose of Personnel Review.
Reconvene to Open Session: Gullickson stated that the Board is happy with work performance. Knutson is currently at $22/hr and Board will raise hourly rate to $22.66.
Approval of Monthly Board Minutes: Motion made by Stroebel/Mork to approve the January 13, 2015, Board minutes as submitted. Carried-unanimously.
Adjourn: Motion made by Gullickson/Mork to adjourn meeting, 7:12 pm. Carried-unanimously.
