Garfield Town Board Meeting

Meeting called to orderby Chairman, Ed Gullickson, at 7:00 pm.
Public Comments: Carl Thomfohrda from Rural Mutual reviewed the Town of Garfield’s insurance.
Road Maintenance: Maintenance crew is working on road signs and also working on 180th St south of Duck Lake Rd.
Moe Land Division on 90th Ave: Surveyor and property owners did not show for meeting. Board is waiting on additional requested information from property owner. Subject matter is postponed to next Board meeting.
Set Levy Hearing Date:Discussion on setting the Levy Meeting on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, before Board meeting. Motion made by Mork/Gullickson to set the Budget/Levy Meeting for 2104 on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at 7:00 pm with regular Board meeting to follow. Carried-unanimously.
Discussion on Budget for 2015: Discussion on Budget. Final budget will be presented at meeting on November 11.
Land Purchase for Maintenance Garage: Land purchase was approved and the paperwork, survey and deed will be taken to the attorney this week.
Clerk’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Vouchers: Submitted, signed and approved. Motion made by Mork/Gullickson to approve submitted vouchers. Carried-unanimously.
Treasurer’s Report: Submitted and reviewed.
Approval of Monthly Board Minutes: Motion made by Gullickson/Mork to approve the October 14, 2014, Board minutes as submitted. Carried-unanimously.
Adjourn: Motion made by Mork/Gullickson to adjourn meeting, 8:22 pm. Carried-unanimously.
