Garfield Town Board Meeting
December 14, 2010

Meeting called to order by Chairman, Ed Gullickson, at 7 pm.
Minutes of last meeting: Motion made by Don to approve Board minutes as submitted.
Carried-unanimously.
Public Comments: Gary Stoneking - discussion on the status of 130th St-easement for all to
use. Concern about emergency vehicles getting thru entrance. Action to be taken, Ed will
dictate a letter.
January Date for Caucus: Tuesday, Jan 18th Caucus at 6PM Followed by our regular
monthly meeting, which we will move from the 11th to the 18th. Motion made and carried by Ed
and seconded by Don.
Review of Restroom Addition: Progress was reviewed and is ready for plumbing and wiring.
Approval of Wanderoos Lions Club Picnic License: Ed made a motion to approve picnic
license for Wanderoos Lions Club for their Feb fishing contest seconded by Don.
Road Maintenance Year End: plowing…………..
Discussion of Tractor/Mower Equipment Trade: Ed made a motion to trade our mowing
tractor and mower for a new John Deere 6430 tractor and a Schulte 10 foot gang mower for
approx. $48,960.00 which will be on a 6 yr lease, with ownership at end of 6 yrs. Seconded by
Don.
By doing this we are keeping our equipment updated and reducing our lease payment by
approx 50%.

Approval of Vouchers: Submitted, signed and approved. Motion made by Don to approve
submitted vouchers, seconded by Ed. Carried-unanimously.
Treasurer’s Report: Submitted. Motion made by Don to approve treasurer’s report as
submitted, seconded by Ed. Carried-unanimously.
Adjourn: Motion made by Ed to adjourn meeting, seconded by Don. 7:35 pm. Carriedunanimously.
