Meeting Minutes
October 10, 2013
Meeting called to order at 7:05pm.
In attendance: Orval Johnson, Chairman; Barry Eklund, Member; Darrell Emerson, Member; Mark Kopp,
Member; Natalie Trudeau, Member; Corey Ulrich, Member; Cliff Manwiller, Zoning Administrator
Absent: George Stroebel, Member
Also in attendance: Tammy & Jerry Lyons
No Public Comment
U.W. of Wanderoos wants to add bathrooms to the accessory building. Cliff M. sees some problems, he will
attend and explain what needs to be done: Cliff has not received the application yet. Review should be
completed by middle of next week.
Wayne Swenson, Polk County Surveying (not in attendance). Minor Subdivision for John Houle, at 947
Longwood Road: Motion to deny the application as it is not in accordance with Zoning Ordinance
(Emerson/Kopp) Carried unanimously.
Information from George on the new Shore Line Ordinance and how it may affect our Zoning Ordinance: Not
in attendance; no info presented.
Scott is checking if the Town of Garfield had applied for a certification of the Ag District in the Towns zoning
ordinance with the Wisconsin Dept. of Ag: Discussion.
Next Plan Commission Meeting: None scheduled at this time.
