Public Hearing to consider the rezoning request by Duane and Barbara Friese at 1301- 105th Ave. (lot 3 of Certified Survey Map No 61 Vol. 3, P.108 and part of the SE1/4 of the NE ¼ of section 11, T33, R17W) If granted, this rezoning would amend the town zoning map, from Ag residential to Commercial.
Hearing called to order at 7:00pm.

Member ; George Stroebel, Member; Natalie Trudeau, Member; Corey Ulrich, Member
Also in attendance: Duane Friese, Property owner; Nolan Wall, Planner with Stevens Engineering
Community members present: None
No public comments or questions.
Public hearing closed at 7:02pm.
Regular Plan Commission Meeting called to order at 7:03pm.
Consider rezoning request of Duane and Barbara Friese, and make a recommendation to be sent to the Town
Board: As the application was submitted to the Town Secretary, who was on vacation and unavailable motion to approve the zoning request, subject to the application, the zoning administrator’s approval, and the fee submittal to the Town Board at the next Town Board meeting. (Stroebel/Eklund) 1 Dissent. Motion carried.
Review recommended zoning ordinance amendments and schedule a public hearing (Accessory Buildings):
Discussion. Postpone scheduling public hearing until a later date.
Review sample ordinances provided concerning outdoor entertainment: Discussion. Tabled.
Discuss Polk County draft zoning ordinance and how it will affect our zoning ordinance: Shoreland Zoning will be incorporated into Polk County Zoning Ordinance as proposed. Discussion. George will look into how the change will affect the Town of Garfield.
Next Plan Commission Meeting to be determined.
