Town of Garfield Planning Commission Minutes

of September 10, 2009

Call to order:  7:06

Present:  Ed Mohrsfelder, acting as interim chair; George Strobel, member; Gordon Lindahl, member;

Sylvan Erickson, Secretary; Nolan Wall, town planner.

Regarding the Brock Olson Minor Subdivision, we are curious if the setbacks are consistent with the Polk

County Shoreland Ordinance.  We also determined that notice should be given to property owners of

contiguous property to the greater property, even though the lot to be sub?divided is surrounded by

Brock Olson property.

We had a brief discussion of zoning.  Nolan will provide for the next meeting a detailed timeline of the

zoning process, conditioned on approval of the voters of the town.

We will begin to review our Facilities Needs Assessment and Impact Fee Ordinance.
