Public Comments: Ed Gullickson led a discussion on the meeting last Tuesday regarding
conservation developments.
Cathy Munkittrick, Town Attorney, gave a talk on the legal pros and cons of being in
county zoning. Her recommendation was to create our own zoning and remain
independent of the county.
In light of Kathy’s information, Ed M. made a motion to reconsider the recommendation
made last month that the Town Board adopts county zoning, second by Marilyn. Motion
carried.
The zoning discussion will be put on next month’s agenda.
Nolan Wall explained the newest maps which included sand deposits, gravel deposits and
erosion hazards. We reviewed and discussed changes in the road ordinance.
These minutes were read and approved at the end of the meeting. [Mark/Marilyn]
The meeting was adjourned.
Respectfully submitted,
Sylvan Erickson, Secretary.
