Town of Garfield Secretary’s Minutes Meeting
of 1/10/08
Meeting called to order at 7:03 p.m.
In attendance: Orval Johnson, Chair; Gordon Lindahl, Member; Mark Knutson, Member;
Marilyn Buckingham, Member; Sylvan Erickson, Secretary; Scott Ward, Town Engineer;
Dan Sitz of Stevens Engineers, Planner for the Town of Garfield.
Absent: None.
The minutes were read and approved as presented. [Marilyn/Mark]
There were no public comments.
Scott provided a draft developers packet and went through the details of the packet. The
committee members should read the packet and report back with any changes, questions
or concerns at the next meeting. Scott will be adding a concept check list and an index.
Orval recommended we look at the county’s ordinance on Small Wind Energy Systems.
For the February meeting, Scott will deliver the draft comprehensive plan, less the
implementation element.
We discussed with Dan Sitz our personalized land use maps. He will compile our maps
into one Draft Future Land Use Map.
Dan also handed out the drafts of the Goals, Objectives, Policies, and Programs for all
elements.
